We offer same day appointments.  Please ring our friendly Receptionists to book an appointment or alternatively online bookings are available.  Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time.  Walk in appointments are available Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 5:00am. Urgent medical problems are always dealt promptly. Our standard appointment is 15 minutes.

It is important to book enough time. If you have more than one problem to be addressed or a complex issue you will require a long appointment – 30 minutes.

For example:  new patient, cervical screening (pap smear), mental health care plan, drivers licence, skin cancer checks, forms to be completed.

  • Urgent medical problems are always dealt promptly.
  • An extended appointment is required for a full check-up, pre-employment or insurance medical,  and some excisions/minor surgery.
  • Some appointments need to be booked with our nurse as well, such as management plans, ear syringes, vaccinations, minor surgery as well as dressings and removal of stitches.
  • Dr Dart runs an appointment book based on 20 minutes appointments for routine matters.
  • SMS texts are sent as a reminder for your appointment.
  • Should you be unable to keep your appointment please give at least 24 hours notice so that the appointment may be allocated to another patient.
  • If you require an interpreter for your appointment please advise reception who can book this in for you.
  • Please notify us if you are unable to attend an appointment.
  • A cancellation fee may apply if you fail to attend your appointment without prior notification.
  • Standard consultation:
    One ailment or review of a previously discussed medical problem.
  • Long Consultation:
    More than one ailment; first time visit; pap smears; skin cancer checks; well person check; life crisis; childhood vaccinations; travel vaccinations; centrelink  forms to be completed.
  • Extended Consultation:
    Insurance medicals; pre-employment medicals; or “full check up”.
