Dr Jared Dart has a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Government, a Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery, and a Doctor of Philosophy in eHealth and Medicine. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Besides his clinical activities he works as a management consultant to improve the health system, as well as running his own businesses. He is an adjunct Associate Professor at Bond University Faculty of Health Sciences and continues to supervise PhD students.

He has worked clinically in hospitals in medical, surgical, emergency, orthopaedic, paediatric, psychiatric, and intensive care settings as well as his current work in General Practice. He works in General Practice because he enjoys the challenge of dealing with patients of all ages with all manner of problems, and being the first point of contact in the health system. He believes in empowering patients to manage their own health care, recognising that many of our unwanted health problems stem from unrecognised and poorly addressed mental health concerns. He also enjoys procedural work including managing skin cancer with minor surgery.

Dr Janet Brodie

At Fiveways Surgery since 2000, Dr Brodie has worked in General Practice since 1995. She graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree and also obtained her Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She enjoys all aspects of general practice care and greatly values the therapeutic relationships she has developed with there patients over the years.

Dr Adeline Ng

Dr. Ng has worked as a General Practitioner on the north side of Brisbane for the last 9 years and has recently commenced practice at Fiveways Surgery. She has special interests in Children’s and Women’s health, travel medicine and lifestyle management.

With 16 years of medical experience, Dr. Ng graduated from the University of Queensland in 1998 and completed most of her post-graduate training at the Mater Children’s Hospital (now the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital) together with a term at the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary, Canada. She has also earned her Diploma of Child Health through the Westmead Children’s Hospital in Sydney.

She completed her Fellowship of General Practice in 2006 and is a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. In 2014, Dr Ng was admitted to the prestigious organisation of The International Association of HealthCare Professionals and will be included in the upcoming publication in the Leading Physicians of the World.

When she is not assisting patients, she enjoys running, snowboarding, travelling and spending time with her friends and family members.

Dr Jang Cham

BPharm (USYD), MB BS (USYD) , FRACGP

Dr Jang Cham has a Bachelor of Pharmacy, and Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery both from Sydney University. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

He trained in Sydney after graduating from the University of Sydney and has worked in hospital for several years mainly in emergency, intensive care and anaesthesia. He enjoys all facets of general medicine and minor procedures.

Jang is caring and down to earth and welcomes patients of all ages. He is available five days per week with extended hours on a Thursday evening.

When not at work he enjoys keeping active playing soccer and golf.

Dr Simon Carter recently retired from General Practice. He had been a GP at Fiveways Surgery since 1992. He grew up in St Lucia and graduated MB.,BS from the University of Queensland. He spent much of his early career involved in sports medicine at the elite level. He holds a Masters Degree in Sports Medicine from the University of New South Wales. He always held a special interest in management of the skin, particularly of skin cancers. After graduating he undertook many years of surgical training. More recently he has expanded this interest to include cosmetic skin rejuvenation after he gained a Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.
